‘88 Constellations’ has been invited to the FILE2008 festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This will take place  August 5 – 31. The piece will be part of the Media Arts exhibition. I love this festival. I went down in 2002 with “A is for Apple” which won first prize at that festival. It was a great experience, a fabulous city, and a wonderful festival. It looks like it has really grown since then. They are doing residencies and touring shows.

World Premiere

The world premeire of “88 Constellations” took place on May 31, 2008 at the opening of the 404 Festival of Electronic Art in Treiste, Italy. This is festival that originated in Rosario, Argentina and is run by Gina Valenti & Mariano Guzmán who are wonderful and enthusiastic supporters of media art. They had invited me to their festival in Rosario a number of times before and I was never able to attend. This time they invited my to Italy and asked me to open the festival with my new piece that they had never even seen. I had such a great time hanging out in Treiste and meeting some wonderful artists.

Here is a link to a Television Programme made for Slovenian Television about the festival with a short interview of me near the middle.
